Marola crept silently through the mountains, checking her surroundings. She had never been in this area of the Spine before. Rauthr had dropped her off here and flown off on his own. She looked around, wondering where she was. She watched for anything coming. She heard some footsteps and found a hiding place. She waited for whoever it was to come into her line of sight.

I had done it once again, been able to run away from my protector and laugh the whole time. I knew my love was a brother, that he loved me so very much, but I had just wanted to see how long it would take before he tried to come after me. So far, his mind was not even paying attention, which meant I was home free for my own adventure. Medad would probably strap me down when he found me and take me home, guard the door the whole time until I had learned my lessons, but then again, I could probably evade his watch during his sleep.
It was funny, being able to get away from my protector with such ease. Something told me he knew, but I did not allow myself to ponder it, just moved through the forest as if I was a fairy. I was dancing on logs, jumping down from high ledges and still able to keep my sword and daggers at my side. I loved being able to roam around, the freedom to do whatever I wanted to do. I twirled, being completely unlike my dragon, my love Medad. He was so serious sometimes, always protecting me until we were safe at home or back in DuWeldenvarden, then he was a little less protective.
I still knew my boundaries, in fact, I was still cautious, wary of others and always ready for a battle if one came. Medad still thought I was young, however, I was older then him in a way, he hatched when I was 20, which made him now 15 years old, but his wisdom went far past my own, which made me so mad! I brushed it off as I continue to finally walk instead of dancing, hearing something not far away I drew my dagger, ready to defend myself. "Who's there?" My voice was as sharp as my blade and I looked into the brush, waiting.

Marola observed the woman wandering the small forest. She seemed...well, carefree. Nothing worrying her. But then she saw how quickly the woman reacted to the slight noise she made in hiding. She'd pulled out a dagger and was alert, watching. Marola smirked a little. Elves had such great hunter's reflexes, but never used them. Marola took a dagger out of its sheath and aimed it at the tree just above the other's head. It flew true to its mark. "Well, if you must know, my name is Marola." She jumped out of the tree and retrieved her black hilted dagger from the tree.

I watched carefully, my right hand gripped the dagger with skilled hand as I turned towards the sounds. My emerald eyes looked over the bushes with ease before I saw the black dagger go past my head, my eyes followed it with careful ease. My mind was about to call forth, I already knew that Medad would feel my alertness. "Well, if you must know, my name is Marola." I turned as I saw the young woman, followed her as she retrieved her dagger.
"You have better be careful, bad things happen when one sneaks up on another," I placed my own dagger back in my belt and I looked at the young elf. I felt for the presence of Medad and did not feel him coming, which meant he was sleeping.
