Name of your Rider: Lady Tismri Liotha
Age: 240
Gender: Female
Family: Liotha, of the island of Nia
Status: Elder
Dragon: Ismrolde
Sword: Mor'ranr: an elegant weapon, yet strong and deadly in battle. The copper blade is designed for gentle swings, more often from the elbow or wrist than the shoulder. The crossguard is polished silver.
The Silver Hand: left
The Discovery: Tismri came from an old family. Her grandfather did not approve of Dragon Riders, having lost his mate in the war. Tismri was visiting relatives in Du Weldenvarden when Ismrolde hatched for her. She was merely twelve at the time.
At the sight of the hatchling, she was filled with a sense of wonder and responsibility. She gladly accepted the call to be a Rider, despite her family's silent disapproval. Over time, she discovered everything that entailed being a Rider, but has fallen more and more in love with the title of Rider, even more than the titile Lady.
Personality: Tismri is a very smart, logical woman. She has gained wisdom over the years, and has a love for her people. She is polite, well mannered, disciplined, and kind. She is not shy to speak her opinions. Indeed, sometimes she can be outright bold about it and when she was younger faced some dire consequences for it. She loves her dragon more than any other living creature, and Ismrolde loves her just as much. Whenever there is something that puzzles her, she tends to write out the problem and proceed then with finding a solution that satisfies her. The result are hundreds of pages filled with her elegant script which she allows no one to read unless for a very good reason. She can be both merry and solemn as needs be, and sometimes sways from one to the other and back again in the blink of an eye.
Appearance: Tismri is a fairly tall woman who appears to be in her mid-twenties. Her hair is long, thick, straight, and reddish-gold. Her eyes are a bright emerald color. She wears either a forest green or crimson elven tunic embroidered with copper thread. She also has a copper-colored cloak fastened with a dragon-shaped brooch that she wears all the time.
RP Example: Tismri savored the feel of the sun on her fair skin, the bright summer day creating her perfect moment. The ocean brought a salty tang to the air that she relished, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore made her want to dance for joy.
Then dance, heart-friend, Ismrolde told her. The copper dragon was flying overhead, enjoying the day just as much as her Rider.
Tismri began to dance to the rythem of the ocean tides, spinning one way, then the other, laughing joyously.
There is no joy or wonder in the world that can compare with this, she said. To be here, with the one who understood her every thought and feeling, on this glorious day. It was so beautiful it made her heart ache.
If only all could know the joy we do, Ismrolde said.
