Name of your Rider: Moraina Ramone Däthedr
Age: Twenty-Two
Gender: Female
Family Däthedr
Status: Apprentice
Dragon: N/A
Egg Code: 342200
Sword: N/A
The Silver Hand: N/A
The Discovery: N/A
Personality: Moraina has, what at first was labeled as a moral deficit, a very open and questioning mind. How she grasps some concepts has slowed her learning and makes it harder to teach her. She asks questions like "why is chastity important?" and "what about a monarchy makes our society function better than it would if we had a democracy or a communist regime?" At first these questions were taken as a sign of disturbed thoughts, but, as one of professors discovered, she just wants to know. She can't form an opinion until she had all of the facts. Moraina was prepared to listen for hours as someone would describe the pros and cons of any given situation. She just wants to learn.
She takes joy in the small things in life and tries to count her blessings. She was quick to anger when someone made a statement of opinion meant as fact and it took her a while to cool off.
Appearance: Moraina is of average elf height with curls like leaves on an autumn day, complimented nicely by her auburn eyes. Her lips are thin, but her smile is wide, her eyes are always full of questions. Her hands and feet are small for her size and her legs are very muscular. Her arms...not so much, but they're graceful enough to make up for it. Her chest is narrow and her hips almost twice the width giving her a distinct pear shape.
Her everyday clothing consisted of brown leggings and a loincloth to cover her bottom half and a tight sleeved shirt with a vest over it on her top. her hair is almost always up or under a band or cloth to keep it out of the way.
RP Example: There he was, the elf she had secretly admired for at least a year. Drovint was his name. Moraina was seated in the upper fork of a nearby tree watching him spar with his friends. He was quite an accomplished swordsman, defeating all of his opponents. She started to climb down and misplaced her foot, sending her slipping down a few meteres. She caught onto the branch above her and slowly lowered herself until she was stable. The commotion had caused Drovint and his friends to turn and look at her. Some of his friends gave him a look and raised their eyebrows. He waved them away. He smiled and touched two fingers to his lips. "Why don't you come down here?" he asked. She returned the gesture and dropped down.
"Hello Drovint." She murmured. "Moraina right?" she nodded. "What were you doing up there?" "I was looking at the scenery..." His friends giggled. He gave them a look and they tried their best to hide it. "Would you care to join us?" he asked politely. "Thank you very much, but no. I've never used a sword before." "Why not?"
"It's pointless!" he looked surprised, "Swords are just so...awkward. I mean you can only use swords for one thing and that's fighting but you have to take it with so why not use something that doesn't have such limited uses. It would be much more efficient if your weapon could be used for more than that. Take staves for instance-" She could tell she was losing them. "I never felt it necessary to learn."
"I see," said Drovint, "So, what other uses do staves have other than as a weapon. Moraina turned pink, "You could use it as...a walking stick..." He smiled at her, she managed to smile back.
"Drovint, we have to go" his friend told him, "Yes, our instructor is ready." His friends started to walk off. "Maybe I'll see you around sometime." "Hmmm." she replied, looking for more of a 'yes' type answer. He waved to her and walked off. She let out a huge gust of air and lay down in the grass.
