Okay, so maybe it was time for a little flight, I don't know, I would not mind it, I am sure Medad would not mind going out, it would be fun for both of use to actually have a little bit of fun. I looked up at the wood ceiling, which met the rock with ease and then just joined together, just like I had sung them together many years ago. I smiled up at it, the sun was filtering in through the vines that were over my window and I set up, looking at the sun rise as it warmed my home with ease. I stood finally, my body moving with grace that most others would be able to do of my kind. I glanced around for just a moment and then smiled a little. I could not help but think that today would be a perfect day for a flight.

"Medad, my love? Are you awake?" He was like my brother, my best friend, but I did not feel his mind near me, I do not know why. He looked outside, did not see his tail wrapped around the house like he normally was. He was normally wrapped completely around my home, protecting it like he always did, but this morning... He was gone. Medad!? I grabbed my clothing for the day, pulled off my loose tunic which I slept in and then replaced it with the tight shirt that curved to my body. I grabbed my pants, pulling them up and buttoning them before grabbing my sword and belt and then my daggers that I had.

I ran out the door, my mind stretching further and further, wanting to feel my Medad and then I ran. I could hear something, it was his wings, they were not far, he was flying. I grabbed the limb above me and then started to climb the tree. MEDAD! It was not him, it was a wild dragon, it was flying over head and going out of site. Where was he? Where was my brother? I turned, looking around for a moment and turning, the sky was getting brighter and brighter.

So I had been out for a little while, maybe a bit of hunting would do me good while she was sleeping, at least then she could decide what she wanted to do besides thinking about my stomach. I glanced around for a moment. She was always making sure that I was well cared for and that meant making sure was eating well. The sun was just rising, which meant that my love would be rising from her sleep. The sun would be warming her skin and her bed where she slept, where I once slept with her, being her protector even at a young age. I smelt many things come with the morning sun rising, the deer that I had just taken in would at least of been waking to find another beast ready to consume it.

I smelt another, another dragon that was in my home land, my territory and I did not like it at all. I growled as I gained speed, going forward until I felt a loud wave hit me, the voice of my rider hitting me, her emotion of protection and fear coming through me like a dagger. MEDAD!

[/color] I winced at her force and went faster, seeing the dragon go over the tree she was on and then seeing him turn back towards her. I roared, beating my wings faster until I hit into the dragon, my teeth going for him quickly.

Get away from her![/color] I roared with great force and looked at her as she saw the fight that was raging between myself and the wild dragon. I heard him growl, could see the rage in his eye since I have just spoiled his breakfast. I clawed at her, before returning to the sky and watching as he came back at me.
