 there's a boarding school in the city of toronto, ontario. most people never even heard of it. but for those who have, they know that there's something strange about the kids who attend. they're not normal. for the past hundred years, brighton academy has been the home for children who have special abilities, abilities that are not wanted in the normal world. they are, as normal folks would call them, superheroes in training. but because the academy has taught these children how to control their powers, everything has been in peace.
unfortunately, it all shattered when a group of people kidnapped one of the richest men in the world and demanded an impossibly high ransom. there seemed to be no trace of actual weapons used in the process. this particular group of people are alumni of the academy and they plan to take over the world- no matter how cliche that sounds. to add on to the chaos, they have selected a couple students to spy on all activities. everyone's in a frenzy and nothing seems safe.
