Illario was ready for a change. He had been doing nothing but basic lessons that he had already mastered since he had come back to Vroengard. Illario didn't know where Blaze was at the moment, so flying somewhere was out of the question. So Illario ran. He ran as fast as the wind itself. His feet pounding the ground. His muscles started to burn, which felt good. His bones jarred with each step. His arms pumped with all of their considerable strength. His lungs started to burn. His blood rushed, releasing andrenaline into his body. Sweat started to bead on his forehead. His lungs steadily burned more and more, to the point where they felt shredded. Illario's staff was in the way, so he slung it across his back. NJow his body burned with all of the heat of a sun. All of his body protested. His mind urged him on. Then when Illario could take it no longer, he pushed himself even hard.
That was the state he was in when he came across the Shrgg. The giant wolves that were native to the Beor Mountains. Illario had no idea why it was on the island. But as the shrgg bared his teeth at him, he got a good idea. Insane. Stupid. But good. He checked the shrgg's mind. It was good and angry. Illario immediately charged the wolf, tackled it and started to wrestle it. The shrgg was as big as a horse, so would stand a chance. With teeth snapping at his face, and claws scraping his body, he pushed and rolled at the same time. He got the shrgg on it's back. He snapped the forelegs of the shrgg, and pulled it's head back. Baring it's throat, he put his hand there. He did not squeeze. He felt the shrgg slowly relax as it realized he was dominant. Illario calmed the shrgg with his mind, and healed it's legs. Putting his hand on it's head, he gave the wolf some spells to give it a good life, in return for the good fight. He changed the wolf, and made it into a guardian for the young and unprotected. The innocent and peaceful. Then he marked it. He have it white fur, with a black spot where it's third eye would be if it had one. He watched as the wolf turned towards the nearest village, and loped that way. Tired he laid down to rest.
He woke to the crack of a dry branch breaking, softly. Almost inaudible. Almost...

I saw that. Blaze's deep, rumbling voice was chastising as he walked up to his Rider. That little stun could have gotten you killed! Do you want to kill me, too, in addition to yourself? I don't know about you, but I want to live. Foolish little elf. The red dragon poked his head out of the forest, right near his Rider's head. He looked down at the elf boy. Leaving me all alone like that. You could have at least told me where you were going, or even that you were going! I am your dragon, little one. Blaze nudged Illario with his nose.
Get up; you shouldn't be sleeping. You should be training, or working, not slacking off like a scullery maid. Blaze shook his head in disbelief. His Rider was so odd sometimes, he couldn't believe it. Sometimes the red dragon felt as if he was playing nursemaid and Illario was the baby-always having to be looked after, cared for, watched over. It got on the dragon's nerve's sometimes, but softspoken Blaze never showed it to anyone, least of all his Rider.
I can feel your mind, so if you were running away from Nanny then it didn't work. It was a joke. Blaze had commented a while back on the fact that he acted as Illario's nanny-the nickname stuck. I will always find you, little one.

Alraer was listening, something she often did away from others, to relax and calm her mind down. Her concentration was shattered as she felt the mind of another. Her eyes snapped open and she sighed, sliding down from her rock, long blue sword strapped firmly to her back. She recognized the young elf she saw before her, fighting foolishly. Sometimes, she didn't really believe that she used to be like the apprentices of today, her and Zel used to be young and stupid.
She sighed, watching as the young rider's dragon appeared, and even though she couldn't hear she could almost guarantee she knew what the red dragon was saying, she would often receive lectures from her dragon partner. She often forgot her dragon was allot older than her, and occasionally would treat her like a baby, much to Azella's disliking.
Then she decided to show herself. She pushed her way through the undergrowth and appeared but a meter away from the great red dragon, smiling and lowering her head slightly as a mark of respect. "Greetings, Dragon, young rider, may I be so rude as to ask what you are doing out here?" she spoke softly in the ancient tongue. Then she spoke in her thoughts. Zel, Can you get your over sized blue butt down here please She said a smirk on her face as she spotted the blue speck in the sky.

Azella's rider could be, incredibly boring at times, often opting to simply sit and listen to the sounds of nature, rather than being in the sky, free. She circled the land, high above where her rider sat, simply as a bodyguard, making sure everything was alright down there. She snarled slightly as a burst of cold air hit her straight in the face before continuing to fly slowly in a large circle, above the cloud line.
Zel, Can you get your over sized blue butt down here please Al's thoughts intruded on her own. She pointed her body slightly down, and began to fly, at a reasonable speed toward her riders, and the others she now sensed.
In little over a minute she landed, picking up wind, dust and other random small objects that lay on the ground with her massive wings. She was, larger than the other dragon that shared the space. Around 18 years worth of growing larger. Well. Why am I supposed to be here? she asked Alraer, not caring who else were to listen in on her thoughts. where, are my manners, I am Azella, Dragon to the full rider Alraer Maerzadí Her head was held high, she was not about to dip her head to someone younger, her arrogance told her not to do so.
OOC Hope I'm ok joining your post ^.^d

Blaze shot his red head up to stare at the blue dragon and Rider. Illario. We have company. They looked strong-the dragon was large, very large, and, as he could see by her lack of polite introduction, arrogant. However, Blaze considered himself better than that, and his only private thought was that whoever raised them really didn't do a good job of it. He hated to act the nanny, but even more than that he hated bratty dragons and Riders. He was better than that, even though he was only an apprentice dragon.
Blaze smiled at the Rider, pointedly ignoring the dragon, and introduced himself in the most deferential way he could manage. My name is Blaze. This is my Rider, Illario. He was bored, and ran away. I came chasing him.

When Blaze stepped out, Illario relaxed. Patiently, he waited for the scolding to get over. Blaze sometimes forgot that Illario was able to take care of himself, and how much Illario hated being chained in any way, or form.
Then a Rider and dragon came. That was a surprise. They were still on Vroengard, but far from most. The dragon appeared arrogant, which bugged Blaze, but Illario was only minorly annoyed by it. He listened to their names, then said "I stayed on the island didn't I, to Blaze. He smiled to the elf and her dragon. But as usual, didn't bow. He never did. It wasn't personal, only Illario's pride. "What now?" he asked, to nobody in particular. Illario was still bored, and itched to do something. As usual...

Be nice, You're being far to bratty for your own good, and you know no-one likes that side of you, you need to grow up a bit Alraer growled to only Azella who lightly growled in response to her words.
"Excuse her, she likes to show off," Alraer said to the young dragon and rider before her with a sweet smile, pushing her highlighted hair out of her face to look them over properly."your name fits you well dragon, " she added admiring the dragons shining red scales. "Again, sorry if I am intruding, but should you not be with a teacher, rather than out here, doing...whatever it is you're doing," her voice was calm, and she didn't mean to pry. She walked over to Azella who looked down at her as a hand was rested on her glimmering blue shoulder. "how far are you along with you training?" her curiosity was beginning to get the better of her now.

I can act however I want. But, I'll behave just this once She sounded rather like a defeated, snotty teenager. She yawned slightly as she listened to her rider. And then just stared at her as she rested a hand, placing it with delicacy on her her shoulder, leaning a small amount of her weight into her. They might have snappy angry comments at each other, and they might fight but they shared a bond so deep that they couldn't bare to be separated for too long. Azella looked over to the young rider, her eyes soft as she awaited his reply.

Illario paused before answering the question. It would undoubtedly sound bad, but did he care? Not really. "I got bored, so I went for a run. My elder won't expect me today.". He only partly lied. He was expected to show up to his elder as soon as he found a certain scroll. The way Illario saw it, this was just a roundabout way of looking for it. "I am an apprentice obviously, and am well into my training. I have been in Vroengard, in training for seven years." Illario answered. "Now, will you answer your own questions?" Illario asked the elf. He was somewhat curious. He just hoped that his nanny wouldn't still be mad at him, but Illario knew better.

"My own questions?" she looked over to him, once again brushing her hair out of her face as she thought back over the questions she had asked. "I have nothing to do today, so I came out here to sit in silence, and listen to the sounds of nature. It's something I often do. I have no elder to report back to, you see, I am not an apprentice such as yourself, but a full on Rider, I became one a few years back when I received my sword and completed my training. I am not judging, but I will tell you, the more effort you make, the faster your training will progress, and so it won't take as long, I know it's tedious, but you will have your freedom, to an extent when you become a rider," the words rolled off her tongue like a song, gentle and melodic, almost charming, without an ounce of effort.
"Dragons are wonderful creatures, age old and so majestic it really is a wonder why they choose to share themselves with us. Azella and I may have our differences, we sometimes argue, but I never forget how utterly boring and empty my life would be without her, not worth living. I'm sorry, I'm rambling, I really don't know where that came from," she laughed slightly, yet another wonderful sound. Azella stood beside her, still, her gaze wondering as she looked around the space they were in, occasionally looking the dragon and rider up and down and then continuing to check out her surroundings
OOC I will wait for your dragon before posting with mine :3

Blaze blinked warily. The dragon didn't seem like the nicest one he had ever met, and Blaze was very sensitive to rude dragons. He could ignore them easily, and had dealt with them before. However, he often found that their Riders were not very nice to Illario, and that he could not stand. Blaze considered himself his Rider's protector, as Illario got himself into way too much trouble without his help. It was almost funny. Every single time the red dragon turned around, it seemed like Illario was in some new trouble or he had run away again. Blaze sighed as he waited for his Rider to tell him what to do next.

What do you think? Illario asked Blaze. The rider before him amused Illario. She seemed to think that Illario was a slacking, lazy, apprentice. The thing was, he had already read the scroll that he had been sent to look for, and so saw no point in hurrying. He would go when he wanted, and finish the lesson quickly. As was normal. Illario saw himself as a self-teaching student. Lessons with others didn't seem so important. Also, Illario got bored learning about things that he already had mastered. The pace that the elders set, was not quick enough for him. So, occasionally Illario would do other things. Things that gave him thrills. Such as the run, and fight he had just accomplished. He understood why what was being said to him now was important, and he agreed with it. The problem was, he didin't think it applied to him. Alrear meant well. Then, he received a familliar feeling from Blaze. Protectiveness. Again. "I understand Alraer. My training is coming along well. I am grateful for Blaze with every fiber of my being. I just felt like it was about time for a break. A moment to help calm my mind. To keep me on track. It is my way of meditating." That was the way Illario was. Nothing, and nobody would ever change that.

A gentle, breeze, soft and cool ruffled the trees, moving Alraer's hair, and picking it up slightly as she listened. Seriously, be nice, I don't want people to get the wrong impression about us. She said, to Azella, who sighed, noticeably taking a deep, over-exaggerated breath.
Alraer, shifted the long blade that was strapped to her back, moved a long strand of hair away from her eye and smiled gently. "I hate to sound horribly naggy, and I'm sorry if I offended you in any way," she said her voice gentle, and sincere as she looked up to Azella, who looked slightly bored.

Azella continued to look at the young elf, her expression slightly bored, rather than her previous, more arrogant expression. A clear as crystal, very familiar voice broke her concentration and she blinked gazing at her rider for a second before lookig elsewhere.
Seriously, be nice, I don't want people to get the wrong impression about us
I'm sorry. I really don't know what there is for me to say on this subject. She answered, a hint of sarcasm in her voice as she said the word "sorry." She continued to stare boredly into the distance, noticing as her her rider looked up to her, she simply looked down for a second, then continued to stare.

Blaze laughed softly, and replied back to his Rider only.=. What I think is that you totally deserve her impression of you. You did run off, and you didn't even bother to tell me where you were going. I think you deserve it, so get used to it and be glad that I'm never mad at you. He nudged Illario playfully.
Also, I think that that other dragon is extremely rude, snotty, and I hope that I will never ever turn out like her, because I think I'd rather throw myself off of a cliff than live with myself like that. I'm willing to be friends, but not if she won't stop looking down at us like we're infants. Really. Blaze snorted softly as he complained along a private line. There's nothing interesting in the distance-I saw that when I came looking for you. She's just trying to ignore us.
